The Premier League has released fixtures for 2021/22 season, which sees Manchester City start their title defence away to Tottenham Hotspur on Matchday 1. Champions League winners Chelsea host Crystal Palace in a London derby, while newly promoted Norwich welcome Liverpool, and Brentford entertain Arsenal.
Chelsea have been handed one of the toughest schedules as they visit Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool in their first five games, before hosting champions Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.
Manchester United have a relatively comfortable round of fixtures, kicking off against Leeds United, followed by Southampton, Wolves, Newcastle, West Ham, Aston Villa and Everton ahead of the first international break of the season. However, the Red Devils face a tricky second half of the season as the face their local rivals Man City on March 5th, followed by Tottenham at home on March 12, Liverpool away on March 19, Leicester at home on April 2 and Everton away on April 9.
Chelsea travel to Old Trafford on the penultimate weekend of the season, as the season concludes on May 22. The Boxing Day games are not as exciting as the previous season, with Liverpools vs Leeds and Man City vs Leicester City being the standout fixtures.
